Shoreham Airport, sometimes referred to as Brighton City Airport, is the oldest civil aerodrome in the UK; indeed the main airport terminal is a listed bilding. It is 1 mile west of Shoreham-by-Sea in West Sussex. Sussex police base their flying operations from here. It is a popular charter airport for the eastern UK South Coast.
